After serving as Vice Chairman of Berkeley's EECS department and Director of the Berkeley Microfabrication Laboratory, Professor Ko left to join the venture capital industry in 2001. He was recipient of the IEEE Solid-State Circuits Award in 2002. In addition to co-founding Silicon Federation International, Ko has been an active private angel investor and invested in more than 20 companies, including DJI.
